Process
Our recording and mixing process keeps you involved in every step even if you are miles away.
We use predominately WeTransfer for file transfers and deliver STEMs and Studio Session on request. Incoming files should be in WAV format at 24b to ensure quality audio.
We deliver audio in multiple formats and do 24-98b at 48kHz in most cases.
01
Preliminary Discussion
Initial discussion on goals and desired outcomes for the track. Discuss genres and desired production styles.
02
Recording
Recording involves on site audio recordings but can also involve taking a prerecorded track and cleaning it up or enhancing for usage in a mix
03
Editing
Clean up the tracks and make them ready to be used in the mix. This can involve noise reduction, deverb, declick and other audio editing functions.
04
Mixing
This involves taking all the tracks and making them sound as a single recording, allowing them to blend and bring out the best in our music through out the song.
05
Revisions
This gives you the opportunity to hear a completed mix and make suggestions on how to improve it. You can get up to three different levels of revisions along with the associated studio sessions.
06
Master
If desired we can also master the completed mix and get it ready to be heard on your favorite streaming platforms. Depending on the genre we aim for different LUFs level and work to make the master as loud as desired without sacrificing the quality of the mix.
